Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by B&B Locksmiths (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or using our services (including enquiries made via the contact form on our website), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms should be read in conjunction with our Complaints Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of the agreement between us.
1. Our Services
We provide locksmith services across Oxfordshire, including but not limited to:

Emergency lockout assistance

Lock repairs and replacements
-
Key cutting
-
Security upgrades
-
Safe services
-
Other locksmith services as requested
All services are provided subject to these Terms.
2. Estimates, Pricing & Deposits
Prices quoted (whether online, by telephone, email, or in person) are estimates only and may vary depending on the work required.
A call-out fee and/or deposit may be required for certain bookings, including evening and emergency call-outs.
For call-outs requested after 10:00 pm, a non-refundable deposit of £50 is required. This deposit will be deducted from the final invoice if the work is carried out.
The final price will be confirmed before work commences, where reasonably possible.
3. Booking & Acceptance
By requesting our services, you confirm that:

You are the property owner, tenant, or otherwise authorised to request locksmith services at the relevant property; and

You grant permission for us to carry out the requested work.
Where reasonable authority cannot be verified, we reserve the right to refuse service.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment methods as advertised at the time of service, including cash and card payments.
Failure to make payment when due may result in additional charges and/or recovery action.
5. Access & Damage
You acknowledge that certain locksmith services, particularly emergency entry, may require non-destructive methods to be exhausted before forceful entry or drilling is undertaken.
We shall not be responsible for any pre-existing defects, damage, or structural weaknesses in doors, frames, locks, or surrounding fixtures.
6. Parts & Materials
All parts and materials supplied remain our property until paid for in full.
Any manufacturer warranties apply to parts supplied only and do not extend to workmanship, except as expressly stated in these Terms.
7. Workmanship Guarantee
We undertake to carry out all work with reasonable care and skill.
Any issues relating to workmanship must be reported to us promptly to allow an opportunity for inspection and rectification. This guarantee does not cover damage arising from misuse, neglect, third-party interference, or normal wear and tear.
8. Complaints

9. Privacy & Data Protection
We process and store personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data, as well as your rights under UK data protection law.

10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the above, our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the services provided shall be limited to the total amount paid for the relevant service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
